Public Affairs/Fund Development Barbara Peyton
Barbara Peyton is a senior-level public affairs professional with more than 35 years experience in marketing, public relations, media relations, fund development and special events. She is the recipient of regional and national awards for publications, videos, PR campaigns and programs. She has written or edited magazines, newsletters, articles and books on topics in public education, sexual harassment, substance abuse, research, technology development and travel safety.
Formerly vice president of public affairs at Houston Advanced Research Center (HARC), she now consults with diverse clients, among them HARC, the American Productivity & Quality Center (APQC), Equity in Education, the Texas Combined Heat and Power Initiative (TXCHPI), and the Institute for Public School Initiatives.
